Dear Friends,

Thanks for attending the President Volunteer Service Award meeting on Sunday, July 18th. We have some great ideas and resources to share with you.

We are going to start the following services for everyone. These services will be provided in the Gurdwara from 11:30am-12:30pm. Please note down the days and avail this opportunity to get help.

1. Doctor Sunday: A physician will be available the first Sunday of each month.
2. Tax Sunday: A certified CPA will be there second Sunday of each month to help you with your tax questions.
3. Lawyer Sunday: A practicing lawyer will be available every third Sunday of each month.
4. Education Sunday: Every fourth Sunday, a dedicated group of young Sikh professionals will help high school seniors with college applications.  They will also be available to look at applications for graduate school programs.  They have experience with all kinds of programs, including medicine, engineering, business, and public policy, and have helped students get interviews at Harvard University. This is a great resource, so please take advantage!  For more information, please contact JJ Singh at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 5. Cultural Program for 2010 is being planned in November. I will send the update as soon as I know the date. Do start planning your item and group. Also email me if you will like to volunteer your expertise to be a coach.
