Sikh Foundation of Virginia celebrated their annual picnic on August 22nd at Nottoway Park, Vienna. This picnic is organized by the SFV trustees for the community. The trustees contribute money for this to bring the community together.

The event was very well attended by adults as well as the children. Food and games were the highlight of the day. There was ample food and a huge variety for everyone. Varieties of games kept everyone busy and were a source of entertainment and community building. Bingo, Volleyball, Frisbee, Rope pulling were few of the attractions. Teenager’s competition with ladies was fun.

Weather really was great the whole morning. It started raining around 4 pm and by then; everyone was ready to call it a day. The day ended with song competition between men and women. It certainly was a fun filled, relaxed and stress free day for all.
